First we will review the role "setting" plays in a story. Our last assessment showed that we need to work on how the setting of a story can affect the mood of a story as well as the characters.
We will then go over key concepts or terms used in the questions of today's assessment. (In the future, you will not be able to ask for any clarification on questions.) Then you will be on your own to complete the assessment.

- contrasting characters
- making inferences and citing textural evidence to support inferences
- using textual evidence to describe relationships between characters; explaining how relationships effect the events of a story
