Analyzing Story Elements: How does dialogue provoke a character to make a decision?

In the short story, "The Old Grandfather and His Little Grandson," analyze how the dialogue between the father and son provoke a character to make a decision.

​Success Criteria:

1. Identify and summarize dialogue in a single sentence that makes sense.
2. "Cite" text evidence and include line #.
3. Explain how the dialogue provoked a character to make a decision. (what? & why?)
